3 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1 cup cold water
2 cups egg whites
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 cup chopped almonds
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup vanilla extract
In a small saucepan, combine chocolate, water and egg whites. Bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to low and stir in the vanilla extract, milk, strawberries, almonds, one cup cream cheese and powdered sugar. Boil for 1 minute more. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and pecans. Stir constantly until smooth. Pour mixture into a 9x13 inch pan. Chill before serving.
