1 (4 pound) can sliced, canned mushrooms, drained
2 (3 ounce) packages dried basil, drained
1 tablespoon olive oil
60 green onions, sliced
3 carrots, diced
1 onion, finely diced
3 green onions, sliced
3/4 cup cooked, heavy cream
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 teaspoons hot pepper sauce
1 sausage, sliced, thinly sliced
In a medium bowl, combine mushrooms, green onions, carrots, onions, green onions, carrots, onion slices, basil, olive oil and orange, lemon zest. Mix well and sprinkle evenly over meat. Mix in tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, hot pepper sauce and meat. Season with sausage. Refrigerate after serving.
