1/2 cup margarine
1 1/4 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
8 individual fresh cookies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream together the margarine, sugar and eggs. Mix in the vanilla and flour until smooth, and smooth again. Beat in the baking powder and baking soda. Fold in the flour mixture alternately with the milk and hazelnuts. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are golden. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on a wire rack. Allow cookies to cool on rack for an hour before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
