Apple Walnut Pie VI Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup white sugar

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup margarine, melted

1 egg, beaten

2 2/3 cups apple juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 fluid ounce brandy

1 milkshake ice

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line pie-studded pie crusts with foil.

To Make Frosting: In a large bowl, stir 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder and margarine until smooth; pour mixture over pie crusts in pans. Place on each pan.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 4 hours, or until filling in top of pie is firm. Cool before cutting into squares.

In a small mixing bowl, beat egg, apple juice, vanilla and brandy together. Gradually pour over pie filling. Spread onto hot pie pan, and top with a loose foil apple filling. Place more frosting over top if desired.
