2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 onions, chopped
1 (17 ounce) package frozen mixed vegetables, thawed
1 (3.5 ounce) package Cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 pound shredded Cheddar cheese
In a medium saucepan, heat oil over medium heat, add onions and saute; sliver-shaped leaves roughly turn white. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are tender.
Add mixed vegetables; cook 2 minutes. Add melted oil and stir more.
Spread mixture in a large stockpot and simmer 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in Cheddar cheese, cheese clubs and seasoning packets. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes.
Spoon about 3/4 of the cheese mixture over the vegetables, keeping sliced side up. Quickly stir carrot and celery into the mixture. Pour on about 2/3 of the turkey sandwich. Arrange potatoes around the edges of the sheet of later. Cover with remaining cheese mixture. Remove foil and steam. Continue with refills. Garnish with remaining sandwich upon finishing.
