2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
1 (15 ounce) can Italian-style diced tomatoes, drained
1 1/2 tablespoons molasses
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) can tomato paste with green chile peppers
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple
In a medium bowl, mix tomato paste, diced tomatoes, molasses, pepper flakes and salt. Place over a medium saucepan, and heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix diced tomatoes, pineapple, salt and tomato paste. Reserve the liquid from the tomato mixture. Stir slowly into the tomato mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Return fettuccine to saucepan, and place over high heat.
When fettuccine is heated through, place fettuccine on a bed of ice, and place over ice in a large bowl to chill.
