1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion, finely chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried thyme
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup chopped fresh pars
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
2 (4 ounce) cans beef broth
1 cup chopped celery
In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, green pepper, parsley, thyme, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, black sugar, white sugar, vinegar and chili powder. Season with cider vinegar, tomato sauce and beef broth. Stir just until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Shape the mixture into four patties and place on a burger patty to serve. Pat patty with the remaining stir-fry sauce and serve on the side.
