Molasses Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups molasses

0.25 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 cups light brown sugar

1 cup milk

3 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon almond extract

4 cups all-purpose flour/1/2 teaspoon baking soda

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

In a large saucepan over medium heat, brown sugar until completely melted. Remove from heat, and stir in milk, eggs, vanilla, almond extract and flour. Mix together, then pour mixture over molasses mixture. Mix together baking soda baking powder baking soda baking powder baking soda salt baking soda salt baking soda baking powder salt baking soda

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges and tops are golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into pieces or store in refrigerator.

I added Sea Salt, and a lil percreme, and it came out great. But only when I let it simmer for a bit on the stove. It was a little too bland, so I added 1/2 tsp. grated parmet and 1/2 tsp. ground Tumeric. It was still pretty thin, so maybe next time I will add another can of mushroom soup. Will make this again!
