1 (8 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
2 cups water
1 (5.5 ounce) can refried beans
2 (2 ounce) cans sliced pinto beans
1 (6 ounce) can tomato juice
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1/2 cup chopped green onions
In a medium saucepan, mix taco seasoning, refried beans and pinto beans. Bring to a slow boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 1 1 minute.
Add pepperjack cheese and water to slow cook. Mix well and pour mixture into a medium saucepan. Bring to a low boil.
Stir in refried beans and tomato juice and bring to a low boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for 1 minute. Add lime juice, tomatoes, green onions and cilantro and mix well. Raise heat to high and simmer for one minute. Add extra lime juice if desired.
