3 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup shortening
2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup waxed paper coated almonds
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease and flour countertops.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine white chocolate chips, shortening and white sugar; stir until melted. Add eggs and vanilla; add canned water until all ingredients are covered. Cook, stirring, until mixture comes to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in walnuts. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until set in center. Cool slightly before separating into three pieces. Chill completely before cutting into bars.
