Best Practiced Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup boiling water

1/4 cup white sugar

1 (16 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup evaporated milk

3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 eggs

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/3 cup hot milk

Directions

In a medium saucepan, pour boiling water over cream cheese until smooth. Remove from heat; stir in sugar, lemon juice and melted butter. Pour mixture into a greased 9-inch glass or pan. Cover with foil and let stand one hour or so before serving.

In a mixing bowl, beat eggs into powdered sugar mixture until light and frothy. Stir sausage mixture into egg mixture.

Pour thickened syrup into ice cream maker with 1 1/2 cups of milk. Freeze until just before serving. Serve immediately. Frozen chocolate mousse can be stored in refrigerator.
