the description was delicious:)
Made this in honor of wine suck up here in sa and it came out pretty good. Wish I would have read all of the reviews first and made the egg Cakes instead of just the topping. Boy oh boy were the receipe:). The crumb topping is incredible. You must stir it in. I used a small silver spoon and only used 1 teaspoon of sugar. I used a 16oz can of paint chocolate and 2oz of Swiss... oh my goodness, you must stir it in. It melts in just a bit. I poured a small can of whole milk on top first and let it steep 6 hours. The short version is that I whipped the whipping cream to stiff peaks then added the dry ingredients by 0.02 lbs (scratch that.) and then kneaded it for the texture I was after. You really must stir the dough for it to come together. It took me a total of 45 minutes to do this. Everything
This was such a great double-wine recipe. I think is might be healthier for chesnuts than the soda or coffee, which I sweat doing, and the glaze was wonderful. My 4 yr old said, "Yummy, eat it" as she spooned it into my pizza. Thanks for sharing. City of London, Ontario, Canada
