1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon prepared cinnamon
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup butter
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
3 tablespoons butter
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a medium bowl, cream brown sugar and eggs together with the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and chopped walnuts. Beat in the butter and brown sugar mixture. Drop by tablespoons onto the cookie sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool before removing from cookie sheets. Invert onto the baking sheets and remove from the parchment paper. Cookies may partially crack because of the high moisture content. Cool completely on wire rack before cutting into squares.
