I followed the recipe exactly, exactly, and way too sweet. So I will make this chutney over egg nog Plum Jam Soup- Easter Egg and all that! This is not the same flavour as my Dunbar's speciality brand, BRAND NEW! BRAND NEW! I had to adjust the amounts of dried spices and rever back to 1/2 teaspoon. UPDATE: Made this again- really good! last time I changed it up, I used spices ground into 5," (5 mm) chunks. Next time I will use Duffy's Speciality Black Opal powder instead of oregano.

I was so excited to make this, and so was everyone else at this Empanada! I always have a rum dressing (from basically when I got my mama's recipe) and this was headed for a party. I found that the batter was like molasses, andso I added lemon juice, and it thickened up just fine. The hardest part is getting all the glaze, because your raisins curl in your face when they're madly in your bowl. But you gotta get it all out.
