2 (10 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
2 cups mushroom capers, sliced
8 ounces stuffed mushrooms
3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Brush cream cheese with sharp margarine. In a medium bowl, mix cream cheese, sharp Cheddar cheese, mushrooms, capers, mushrooms, sharp cheddar cheese, milk, salt, pepper and mozzarella cheese. Shape mixture into 2 12-ounce casserole-size baking dishes (Baking Dish or larger).
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle mozzarella cheese over loaded casserole. Bake an additional 10 minutes, spooning cheese over the casserole. Serve hot.
