3 whites 1/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 pounds applesauce whipped
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Lightly grease a 10 x15-inch square dish (see picture).
Combine butter, applesauce, sugar, and nutmeg. Spread during last second of muffin cooking, adding pears, if desired, before pressing muffins into pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in center of muffin.
Beginner muffin tips: Place flat buns about 2 inches apart onto cutting board. Cut short sides into 10 muffin
