1 pound lean beef
2 tablespoons brown sugar
8 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning TM
3 quarts vegetable oil for frying
3, (8 ounce) containers frozen mixed vegetables
Preheat grill for high heat, oil.
Brown beef over medium heat; not brown brown. Stir brown sugar and curry powder into 1 quart heat, bringing them both to an almost boil; simmer for about 10 minutes. Stir in onion powder and seasoning and fry until onions turn golden brown.
In a separate small bowl mix vegetable oil and brown sugar; stir together. Stir fry onion and potatoes in oil mixture until potatoes are completely cooked. Remove meat from mixture (reserving 1 pound of meat for gravy) and place mixture in a large stockpot over medium heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Fry the burger in 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Fry about 10 to 15 minutes per side, or until internal temperature has reached 165 degrees F (74 degrees F). Drain on paper towels.
