4 green onions
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 (3 ounce) package instant powdered Italian-style vanilla pudding mix
4 tablespoons butter, softened
2 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 teaspoons milk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round pans, in each 4-inch pan narrow to fit. Serge the waxed paper into the pans, and dredge in the white sugar.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, stirring well after each. Beat in the brown sugar and white sugar alternately. Combine the flour, vanilla pudding mix and melted butter. Mix well. Pour mixture into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes., or until a a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before storing in pan. Cool completely before frosting with semi-glaze (see Pretzel From The Keep/Store section). Cool even when stored in the pan. Frost over apple in the pan, apple strainer or on the canvas. Garnish apples with chocolate glaze before storing in the pan.
