8 slices spicy Italian sausage, casings removed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 cups white sugar
2 eggs
3 teaspoons butter, melted
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup diced celery
1 onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup chopped frozen blueberries
1/2 cup raisins
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (220 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine the oil, garlic powder, sugar, eggs, butter, and oil. Mix thoroughly.
In a small saucepan, melt butter, add the celery, onion, bell pepper and blueberries. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
Bake at 450 degrees F (220 degrees C) for 1 hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the oven comes out clean. Remove from oven, and let cool before serving.
Not so good for you. While we were making these (while watching veggies), I lost 1 lb of sweet potatoes
