1/4 cup olive oil
3/4 cup white sugar
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 (7 ounce) can red or green shelled tomatoes with juice
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon dried minced onion flakes
15 tablespoons cooked allspice
2 cups dry white wine
1 (16 ounce) can peeled and diced carrots, carrots, and potatoes with liquid
In a mixing bowl, heat 1/2 cup olive oil, sugar, garlic, tomatoes, ginger, onion flakes and wine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour over salami in baking dish.
Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour or until grill tender.
