1 cup instant chocolate pudding mix
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons Baking powder
1 cup sour cream
1 cup chives, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup water
1/2 cup rum
Beat pudding mix, sugar and egg until smooth. Beat in baking powder and sour cream, nearly blending well. Stir in chives, vanilla and water, mixing thoroughly. Reserve 1 1/2 cup sour cream, if desired.
Transfer cooled pudding mix mixture to a serving bowl. Stir in chives, preserves, remaining sour cream, remaining chives, rum and remaining marshmallows.
Even better? Add 2-4 oz. of sparkling wine or sparkling soda. NOTE: And yes, this can be made with "light" cranberry juice and you won't even notice the difference.
