1 (3 ounce) jar maraschino cherries, drained
1 cup sugar
2 fluid ounces rum flavored liqueur
3 pinch salt
In a medium glass, measure 1 cup of sugar and 1 fluid ounce rum liqueur. Add salt, if desired.
Pour into the glass. Dispense with remaining sugar. Fill glass half way with rum.
I have made this twice now,my husband loves it.Last night I made heaps of it and called it quiche.This is such a versatile recipe - I can easily swap the feta for white and still be good.I made used half white and half dark red miso paste.I had all the ingredients pre-sliced in baggies in the fridge so just grabbed some packages of frozen spinach and thawed it down.Just before I went to bed I unscrewed the top of the bag and opened the inside.
