Roast Beef Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 clove garlic, minced

1 pound lean beef roast

2 tablespoons vinegar

1 (12 ounce) bottle red wine

1 (6 ounce) can beef broth

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon white sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons paprika

2 teaspoons vegetable oil

2 teaspoons paprika

Directions

Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Fry garlic until golden brown. Add beef and cook over medium heat 2 minutes. Pour vinegar into pan and add wine, broth and Worcestershire sauce. Stirring continuously, cook until sauce reduces by half. Remove beef from pan. Place roast in saucepan.

Place beef in saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 1 1 minute. Remove from heat. Remove from pan. Stir cocktail cream into pan. Remove meat from saucepan. Stir in wine mixture, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and paprika. Place over medium heat and simmer for one minute. Pour over roast.
