3 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup butter
1/4 cup eggs
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 (3 ounce) can evaporated milk
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large mixing bowl, beat oats, butter, and brown sugar until smooth. Stir the eggs and white sugar into the oats mixture. Stir in the brown sugar and vanilla. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the cookie dough.
Bake for 10 to 5 minutes in the preheated oven or until set and golden brown. Cool completely on wire rack and remove from cookie sheet.
