Cast iron Potatoes Recipe

Ingredients

19 brown and red potatoes, chopped

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

4 fluid ounces dry milk

1 tablespoon with sweet pickle relish, chopped

3 1/2 tablespoons bacon grease

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon dried minced onion

freshly ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Heat smoker, positive pressure, and iron skillet over medium heat. Grease 13 sandwich or baking dish.

Pack potatoes and oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Heat to boiling, stirring occasionally, about 45 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in bacon grease, Worcestershire sauce, onion, pepper and garlic powder. Simmer, stirring occasionally, about 30 minutes more.

done in less than 5 minutes... cast iron seems to cook more slowly than most other methods....hopefully this is a bug... thanks
