1 quart lemon juice
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar
1 quart ginger ale
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons dried lemon peel
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup fresh grapefruit
In a small, heavy-duty glass pitcher, combine lemon juice, vinegar, ginger ale, lemon juice, flour, salt, lemon peel and pepper.
Fill pitcher with grapefruit slices and refrigerate until chilled. Use a wooden spoon or wooden handles to scoop into glass or metal bowl. Serve.
