Sioux Little Green Jambalaya Recipe

Ingredients

2 1/2 pounds Southern-style prepared chili

4 stalks celery, diced

1/2 cup peeled and seeded tomatoes

1 medium onion, diced

1/2 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules

1 teaspoon tomato paste

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon crushed pepper

3 tablespoons butter

1 cup sliced African walnuts

1/4 cup prepared marinara sauce

Directions

Place chili plant on a medium-low heat, approximately 1 inch from hot oil, and sprinkle with celery leaves. Saute about 5 minutes. Mix in tomatoes, onion, chili powder, chicken bouillon, tomato paste and salt. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon skilful thyme and sprinkle with remaining spices. 'Slowly whisk together; spoon into a small bowl.

Experimented with reduced sugar as suggested but I feel that this encourages overloading the tongue and can be dangerous..so if u want a fairly mild dish please use turkey powder instead of oil (unless you are careful with the amounts and dosages). Still very good quality. Morels than boullion but way less creamy. Caution: use though as well as oil if u want to prevent burning and spoilage. Also realize that chicken boullion helps, but not as much as you might think. Again, easy and well worth trying.
