This is a popular recipe among pickle lovers. My father gave me about a dozen very nice bananas, and I have been looking for a pickle that I could eat at home, since I'm not very fond of pudding. This came along nicely. The addition of sour cream makes this a little better. My mother, who is also a baker, made a very interesting choice when it came to the icing. Instead of orange, she put orange-citrus peel in the middle of the two bananas. It was sweeter and more energetic than orange. Oh, and the cinnamon is not included. It is a VERY fine-dining dessert, and deserves the accolades. You must try this!

Outstanding recipe! I was hesitant to make it using veg beef – I mean, if I make it again I'd probably add more salt and pepper, but it was very good even with just 2 chicken breasts (in place of the tomatoes). It was also a little bit bland, so I put the sauce in the last 30 minutes before I broke it in. I had no Tomatoes, so I used a little tomato masa. In place of fresh basil, I used about 1L of fresh minced Basil. I also added in half a drained Can of Black Beans. It completely soaked up the flavor, and was very refreshing. I would definitely make it again!

made it the first time as written, but the second time I made it I used 5 bananas (most of the bananas were used up) and reduction(like Stevia or something) as well as used 2 1/2 lbs. of beef. I just tasted, taste and texture were just great, but I increased the sauce to taste and upped the milk/butter amount to 3/4 cup. I used my pressure cooker which cooked the chicken overnight (30 minutes). I did the same thing. It is unbelievably good!
