5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups corn syrup
3 1/2 cups milk
2 tablespoons butter flavored extract
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup rum flavored extract
In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, combine cocoa and brown sugar. Add corn syrup, milk, butter and brown sugar. Mix well and refrigerate mixture in refrigerator overnight.
In a small mixing bowl, combine rum and brown sugar mixture. Mix well and refrigerate mixture in refrigerator.
When the weather is warm, stir the rum flavoring into the cocoa-brown sugar mixture in a slow simmering fashion until well mixed. Cover and refrigerate until serving.
