2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 tablespoons butter
4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1/2 teaspoon white wine vinegar
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 tablespoons Italian-style seasoning
salt and pepper to taste
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir together the olive oil, onion, butter and chicken. The heat should just be at a moderate simmer. Cook about 5 minutes, or until chicken is no longer pink. Reduce heat to medium.
Add vinegar, crushed red pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, Italian-style seasoning and salt and pepper. Cook about 4 minutes, or until thickened.
