1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 3/4 cups white sugar
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Mix in the white sugar until well blended. Beat in the oil; mix in the pecans. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
