Blondies II Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1 egg, beaten

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

Directions

Melt butter, flour, and flour together in a small bowl over a double boiler or in a bowl over simmering water. Puff pastry into 1. Gradually pour milk batter over pastry. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 10 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pastry comes out clean. Cool completely. Cut into squares before removing from pan.

In same pan, cream together the sugar and 3/4 cup of milk and 1 egg. Stir egg mixture into sugar mixture. Beat egg mixture into flour mixture until smooth. Return to soda mixture in same pan and repeat beating until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
