8 sausage, shredded
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 medium onion, grated
1 small head cabbage, shredded
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lemon, juiced
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
salt and pepper to taste
In a mixing bowl, mix oil, onion, cabbage, garlic, lemon juice, parsley and salt and pepper. Shape into 6 sheets. Flatten and roll dough. Place sheets onto a large baking board. Let rest comfortably overnight.
broil in a 9-inch skillet 1 inch thick, instead of the 6-inch size sprayer. Place skillet over medium cooling heat, until steam has risen. Brown sausage 2 to 4 minutes on each side, flipping once (still in waxed paper) and turning frequently. Transfer fried sausage to the pan. Add about 2 tablespoons vegetable oil to skillet. Sprinkle both sides of sausages with salt and pepper. Broil until puffed, about 10 minutes. Transfer to another large serving dish.
