1 1/2 cups butter, softened

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Prepare pastry by putting caramel sifted onto a waxed paper lined sheet. If using a 9 inch pie pan, grease and press the caramel evenly onto the crust.
In a medium saucepan, heat softened butter over medium
