1 (1 ounce) square unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups milk (measured correctly; if you use a preservative, add a dash of hot pepper sauce to taste)
1 tablespoon dried oregano
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons dried sage
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
3 tablespoons Italian seasoning
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
Rinse and drain mozzarella cheese pieces as much as possible. Cream the butter, milk, oregano, garlic, seasoning salt, basil, oregano, sage and salt together, and refrigerate until blending.
Spread cheese pieces into cheese cubes in a single layer, spoon the mozzarella into cheese cubes, and shape into 1/3 inch balls. Place upright on a baking sheet. Brush a piece of butter lightly on the top and sides of each.
Bake uncovered at 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) for 8 to 10 minutes, or until cheese is golden and bubbly. Remove from baking sheet.
