2 tablespoons olive oil
1 pound salmon fillets
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
1/2 teaspoon grated onion
2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon dried sage
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon dried oregano
Place the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add salmon and salt and garlic powder; cook, tossing, until salmon flakes with water. Mix ginger and thyme with garlic powder, sage and onion.
In a medium bowl, combine carrot, onion, and ginger. Mix finely; pour over salmon while still in plastic wrap.
Remove plastic wrap from fish and place in a shaker container. Shake vigorously until coated with fish-flavor mixture. Pour over fish and serve.
