3 bananas, peeled
3 cups white sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 egg whites
1 teaspoon lemon zest
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 cups milk chocolate syrup
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Place bananas in blender or food processor and puree until smooth. Transfer to serving bowl. Stir in sugar, vanilla extract and egg whites. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; stir into bananas puree mixture. Pour into blender or food processor and blend until smooth, scraping bowl often.
In a medium bowl, beat chocolate syrup and almonds using wooden spoon, until smooth. Pour into blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Chill mixture for 10 minutes. Stir into banana puree mixture. Serve at room temperature.
