Coconut Cream Pie Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter, softened

1 tablespoon packed brown sugar

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice

1/2 cup milk

1 (9 inch) prepared chocolate cookie crumb crust

1/2 cup almond paste

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

2 tablespoons white sugar

1/4 cup chopped almonds

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).

To make the filling: In a small mixing bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, brown sugar, brown sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, almond extract and lemon juice. Mix until smooth. Fold in milk and egg. Spread filling into pie crust.

Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely before freezing.
