3 cloves garlic, minced
4 green onions, diced
1 (14 ounce) can Italian-style red wine
2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root
1 teaspoon dried oregano
2 teaspoons dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
salt to taste
In a blender, combine garlic, green onions, red wine, ginger, oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper. Blend until smooth, scraping down sides of blender. Pour mixture into a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer. Simmer until vinegar is reduced and there is a layer of liquid in the pan, about 5 to 10 minutes.
