1 pound lean ground beef
3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 teaspoons dried basil
Place the meat in a large stockpot with enough water to cover. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned and begins to pull together. Drain excess moisture from meat and place in a large zipper bag. Cover and refrigerate.
In a blender or food processor, combine Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and onion.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in basil, oregano, rosemary and garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally, until meat is browned and has a lovely golden brown color. Stir in basil liquid and cook briefly.
Stir mixture together cheese mixture, flour, salt and pepper and mix well.
