1 1/2 cups boiling water
2 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 cup chopped almonds
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
In a high heat, bring water and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, lemon zest, lemon zest, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and cinnamon. Let cool to room temperature.
To assemble: Place fruit in a small bowl. Pour lemon juice over fruit. Cover loosely with foil. Brazzle with lemon juice and place in a separate bowl. Cover tightly with foil. Cover tightly with foil. Place in refrigerator. Refrigerate for at least 2-1/2 hours. Peel and core fruit. Cut into desired shapes. Serve over ice in squares or wedges (optional). Garnish with fresh lemon zest (optional).
