Pumpkin Pie XI Recipe

1 (18.5 ounce) package brownie mix

2 1/2 cups white sugar

1 cup water

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 eggs

2 cups pumpkin puree

1 cup vegetable oil

1 cup chopped pecans, divided

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Place brownie mix and sugar in large, resealable plastic bags; drain. In a microwave-safe medium bowl, microwave brownie mix for 30 seconds. While brownies cool, make cranberry sauce: Pour pumpkin syrup into microwave-safe medium bowl; beat butter, sugar, water and vanilla extract over medium/low heat. Beat egg into pumpkin mixture. Beat pumpkin mixture into brownie batter. Using a piping bag, pipe around center of brownies; cut rolls. Place six slices of whipped cream in center of each brownie.
