1 (2 pound) can sliced pepperoni sausage, drained
1 (4 ounce) can sliced pizza sauce
1 cup water
1 (1 ounce) package pizza spice mix
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 (14 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup crushed pepperoni sausage
1 small onion, diced
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/4 cup crushed pepperoni cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or to taste
1 (8 ounce) package shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray oven with nonstick spray.
Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly browned. Drain, crumble and set aside.
In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil. Stir in pepperoni sauce, pour in tomato sauce, and sprinkle with pizza spice mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce, tomato sauce, tomato sauce, and crushed pepperoni cheese. Mix well. Bring mixture to a low simmer, stirring occasionally, until mixture is thickened.
Stir the cheese mixture into the tomato mixture. Mix in the parsley and mushrooms and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture is melted.
Bake in preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until crust is golden brown and bubbly.
