2 eggs
1 cup butter, softened
2 3/4 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups popcorn or watermelon seed
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 3 (5 ounce) pans. Set aside.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and white sugar until smooth. Beat in the milk and vanilla until just blended. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, baking soda, and baking powder; stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the brown sugar, milk, popcorn and watermelon seeds; beat well.
Drop batter by rounded spoonfuls onto the prepared pan. Place pan on preheated oven shelf. Cool completely. Cut into squares. Cut into 6 squares or rounds.
