1/2 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons soy sauce
4 slices bacon
8 inches chicken breast halves
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger root vegetables
Fill a large stockpot with water and add Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, bacon and chicken. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Boil, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir in butter, lemon juice, mustard and ginger. Bring to a boil, stirring, and cook until thickened. Reduce heat to low and stir in chicken. Simmer uncovered all day.
I made this and added green onions. My family loved it! I did marinate the chicken pieces in the oil/water mixture for an hour to 1 hour. Then I used olive oil to baste the chicken pieces with the green onions. I did this in my food processor. I saved the paste in my file to have next time. I did this in my toaster oven for 15 minutes. Oh so good!
