1/2 cup fat-free milk
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger vanilla extract
2 cups orange juice
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 cups vodka
1 1/2 cups apple juice
1 1/2 cups cranberry juice
1 teaspoon apple pie spice
1 teaspoon hot orange juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 (750 milliliter) bottle lemon beer
In a large saucepan, combine fat-free milk, vanilla extract, orange juice, lemon juice and vodka. Place over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thickened. Remove from heat. Stir in apple juice, cranberry juice, apple pie spice, hot orange juice, lemon zest and cream of tartar. Pour into a mixing bowl, and pour into a 2 quart skillet. Place sifted grated orange croutons on top. Place over medium heat, quenching lemon juice in small portions. Gradually stir in remaining lemon juice, apple crumbs, apples. Allow to simmer, stirring occasionally, until just before serving.
