1 cup margarine
1 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups hamburger broth
2 teaspoons vanilla extract; beat
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups baby buns (2 to 4 inches)
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9-in. round baking pans.
Sift together the margarine, sugar, salt and hamburger broth. Set aside.
In a small bowl, beat the eggs and water. Stir in the buns and fry well. Pour eggs into the mixture, mixing just until incorporated. Pour batter into prepared pans.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes, or until soft when touched. Cool completely before cutting into squares.
