1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 (4 ounce) can refried beans
1 (2.5 ounce) can diced green chilies, drained
2 (10 ounce) cans refried beans
salt to taste
1/4 cup salsa
In a large saucepan bring 2 cups water to a boil. Stir in onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover, and simmer 15 minutes.
In a large bowl, mix beans, refried beans, salsa, cilantro, margarita ingredients and salt. Return to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring constantly. Cover, and simmer 5 minutes. Pour over tortillas.
