Triple Toast Coffeecake Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 sweetened foods eggs

3 tablespoons white sugar

1 tablespoon Irish rum (optional)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 egg whites

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 cup milk

3 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup cherry juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

15 tart cherry slices

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9 inch springform pan.

Stir together the butter, vanilla, and sweetened foods eggs.

In a large bowl, beat cream of tartar until it is smooth. Stir in sugar, white sugar, Irish rum, vanilla extract, egg and strawberry juice until well blended. Fold into mixture. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, and milk. Scoop batter into prepared pan.

Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean. Allow to cool completely before removing foil or tightly covered edges of pan. Serve warm, covered.
