Double Fudgey Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 (18.25 ounce) package Fudgey Chocolate Fudge Recipe

1/8 cup white sugar

3 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/2 cup boiling water

1 (9 ounce) package chopped pecans

1 cup granulated sugar

1 1/2 cups cornstarch

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

Sift together the sugar, oil, boiling water and pecans. Set aside. In a large bowl, mix the pecans, granulated sugar, cornstarch and vanilla until smooth. Pour into the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan or casserole dish.

Bake in preheated oven for 55 minutes, or until center is golden brown. Cool completely. Refrigerate until serving. Cut into 1 inch squares. Serve with whipped cream or whipped cream cheese frosting.
